Privacy Policy

  • All information within the ‘The Book of the World’ remains the property of the site and its owners.
  • No information will be used for any purpose other than to display as agreed with the member in the book and to the world.
  • At times certain profiles may be used to promote the site, but not for any malicious or harmful purpose.
  • People have the right to withdraw their profile from the book at any time by use of the delete profile function found in the edit profile menu or with a written request via the contact us email.
  • Persons breaching the Terms of Use of the site will have their profile removed with no financial reimbursement.
  • All members will have editing access to their profile for 12 months after either joining in their first year or paying the annual edit fee in subsequent years.
  • No responsibility will be accepted for the misuse of any information taken from this site and used elsewhere, by others not involved with this site.
  • All contact details will be held by the site for communication with the member only and will not be provided to any other source without the member’s permission.

Pricing Policy

  • All membership fees for the Book of the World are quoted in US Dollars.
  • The one off membership fee is US$99.
    • This allows for the first 12 months access to editing and adjusting your profile,
    • at the end of the 12 months the login will no longer be available,
    •  however the profile pages will remain visible for the life of the server.
  • To edit in future years a fee of US$10 will be payable allowing a further 12 months access.
  • The aim of the site is to preserve and make available the member’s profile to the entire world for as long as server can be feasibly maintained, with indefinitely being the aim.
  • All membership is for the life of the server capability and provided the member abides by the rules the profile will last indefinitely.
  • Breaching of the site rules and obligations will result in the member’s profile being removed with no financial reimbursement.
  • It may be that the cost to maintain the site or to add additional features in the future will cause the membership or editing cost to increase, however these cost increases will not be retrospective.
